Workshop Fortress cities of the southeastern border of the Habsburg Monarchy

U organizaciji Instituta za povijest umjetnosti jučer je u Gradskom muzeju Karlovac održana radionica "Eugen Savojski 1663. - 1736. i gradovi-tvrđave jugoistočne granice Habsburške monarhije". Program je dio projekta Hrvatske zaklade za znanost, a bavi se istraživanjem gradova-tvrđava ranog novog vijeka. Temu radionice predstavila je ravnateljica Instituta dr.sc. Katarina Horvat Levaj.

Cilj je projekta istražiti urbanizam i arhitekturu Osijeka, Slavonskog Broda, Stare Gradiške Karlovca (Orlica) i Petrovaradina, valorizirati ih u kontekstu drugih utvrda i rezidencija Eugena Savojskog te postaviti na UNESCO-ovu kartu svjetske baštine.
 
Programu su nazočili županica Karlovačke županije Martina Furdek Hajdin, gradonačelnik grada Karlovca Damir Mandić, glavna tajnica i voditeljica službe za UNESCO Rut Carek, glavni konzervator u Upravi za zaštitu kulturne baštine Davor Trupković, ravnateljica Instituta za povijest umjetnosti Katarina Horvat Levaj i ravnateljica Muzeja grada Karlovca Hrvojka Božić.
