An art workshop "Let's preserve cultural heritage" was held with the students of the 3rd grade of the Turanj Elementary School. Through the exhibition "Days of Pride - Heroic Defense of Dubrovnik in 1991", the students became aware of what cultural heritage is, which cultural monuments are protected by UNESCO, why tangible and intangible cultural monuments should be preserved. Starting from floods, fires, earthquakes to the greatest war destruction of cultural monuments, make students aware of the importance of the care of experts as well as all residents of cultural heritage. War is the greatest destruction of cultural monuments, and every individual's concern for the preservation of monuments is valuable not only by throwing garbage, not painting with graffiti, but also by thinking and talking about the importance of material cultural heritage. Through posters, the students presented their position on how and in what way we should take care of our cultural heritage and our homeland.
The workshop was led by Ivana Maradin.
