Retrospective exhibition Biserka Lovnički ”Steps in Silence 1991-2023”

A retrospective exhibition of Biserka Lovnički's works of art "Steps in Silence 1991 - 2023" opens in the "Vjekoslav Karas" Gallery on Wednesday, July 12 at 7 p.m.

Biserka Lovnički was born in Karlovac in 1946. He has been painting since his early youth and intensively since 1990. She attended an international watercolor school. Milutin Knežević was educated in various art techniques with the teachers of Petr Skutari. In addition to painting techniques, she tried her hand at making ceramics using the raku technique. He often works at many humanitarian actions and art colonies. So far, she has had about thirty solo exhibitions and almost a hundred collective exhibitions. She has been awarded 11 times in her homeland and abroad for her work. This year, the author celebrates 33 years of active work in fine arts. On this anniversary, the author will publish a monograph that will present a selection of the best works. The foreword of the exhibition is signed by Dr. Sc. Enes Quien. The exhibition contains more than a hundred works in different techniques.

The technical installation was carried out by the employees of the Museum of the City of Karlovac. The exhibition is part of the Karlovac City Day celebration program.
